Arrange desktop icons on your PC

Are you using a Windows computer, and your desktop looks like a jumbled mess of icons? We want to discuss a number of ways for you to clean it and get a good streamlined and attractive screen. We'll show you how you can hide, remove, or arrange the icons on your desktop in this article.

The first step is to initiate and organize the icons on the desktop is to organize them by type. To do this, somewhere on the desktop, use right mouse click function and select the sort function. This will put all your icons in order by file type. You can also select by name, if you want, but we prefer to type on. Another option is to automatically organize, if you want.

Once you have them all neatly organized, you can begin to remove the icons on the desktop, you do not need. This is a simple task. You can do them separately or together. To delete an individual, simply right-click on the icon and press the Delete button, you will receive a confirmation, click Yes, and it's done. If you want to delete some icons, use your mouse and the control key, move your mouse over the icon and click while hold the control key, it will highlight it, do it for as long as you wish. Then right mouse click and delete.

If you do not want to delete the icons on the desktop, but put them in a group, you can create folders on the desktop. Right mouse click on the desktop and select New - Folder, and then give it a name. Once this is done to organize the icons you can simply press the left mouse button on one and drag it to the folder you just created.

After completing the steps above, and all the unnecessary files are deleted or inserted in the folder, you can now organize the elements of the desktop, follow this simple procedure. Right mouse click on the desktop, then click on sort, then chose the way you want them (modified, name, type).
